Psalm 37:16 “Better is the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked.”
There are righteous, godly people who have little in terms of money and possessions but who are rich in joy, peace, purpose, and relationships. It is not because they have little that life is better for them; it is because they know God’s love and constant provision. They know God. And even the little they have stretches to meet needs (their own and others’) even as the wicked man’s wealth fails him.
Father, thank you for constantly providing. You have blessed me financially far beyond any of my expectations and yet not with so much that I cease to trust in you and depend on you. This remains true to this day. I know you will provide; you always have. I am yours, and I await your guidance for the days ahead.
