What to Do with Weak People

Psalm 41:1-2 “Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble. The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.”

A tactic of ladder-climbers is to ignore and/or exploit the weak. They pay attention only to the “important” people in the room. Yet if God did that, no one would survive. We are all utterly weak and helpless compared to him. God wants me to have regard for (to respect; to show concern for) people who are weak. He promises to deliver, protect, and preserve my life when I tangibly deliver, protect, and preserve the lives of those who can’t help themselves.

Father, please show me someone who needs my help today, especially if it is someone who I have ignored or failed to regard. Weakness can be physical, mental, emotional, financial, spiritual. Please open my eyes and put my feet into action to obey your instruction in these verses.
