Taking the Corners Without Drift

Hebrews 10:23-25 “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds … let us encourage one another.”

There are swerves in the road of life. If I don’t hold tight to truth the twists and setbacks of my journey will drift into discouragement and I will lose my way. But if I focus on truth – that God is faithful and there is no greater hope than the gospel of Jesus Christ – then I will stay on course and continue to move forward in maturity, love, joy, and fruitful witness. A key part of all that is meeting together with other disciples – to make a habit of it (Hebrews 10:25) and to encourage each other to grow in love and good deeds.
