1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
God cares for me. This statement should give every Christian pause, for it is beyond astonishing that the Creator of the universe actually cares for me as an individual. This truth is repeated throughout Scripture. Jesus invited his listeners to come to him, to take his yoke upon them, to receive rest for their souls (Matthew 11:28-30). If I let him, he will take my burdens and anxieties off my shoulders and put them on himself.
Father, thank you for knowing me, caring about me, and loving me unconditionally. This is too wonderful to fully comprehend. O Lord, I owe everything to you.
