Confidence

Philippians 4:13 “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

This is about confidence in God, not self-talk about my own wits and abilities. There is no limit to what a person can do who depends on God for the strength to do it. But the doing is not about selfish motives or selfish ends. God gives me strength to accomplish his good purposes in my family, church, community, job, and other callings to impact the broader world.

Father, please equip and strengthen me to accomplish the work you have planned. I desire to know your call on my life in a clearer way. Lead me forward into the next phase. I want to bear much fruit and bring you glory and be a catalyst of transformation in blind, broken, and lost lives. Tune my ears to hear your voice. Strengthen my feet to walk in obedience to your guidance.
