1 Timothy 6:1-2 “Consider your masters worthy of full respect so that God’s name and teaching may not be slandered.”
Rudeness, arrogance, and contempt are serious problems that can slander God and impair the message of the gospel. God has placed me in the midst of a specific group of people and under a specific set of bosses as part of his plan of redemption. If I disrespect my bosses or produce inferior work or carry a bad attitude, I am failing to fulfill God’s purposes in the lives around me.
Father, please don’t let me get in the way of your plans. Use me today as your representative at work, giving full respect to my bosses and thereby uplifting your name and teachings.
