Hebrews 6:7-8 “Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop … receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless.”
Like the land described here, what is my life producing? Am I drinking in the “rain” of God’s kindnesses toward me, yet returning thorns and thistles? Or is my life producing fruit that pleases him? God has showered my life with excellent teaching, Christian fellowship, praying parents and friends, and stretching opportunities. What is the crop he desires for me to produce now, today?
Father, I am excited about joining your work wherever, whenever, and however you want me to serve. This world desperately needs to know your saving love, your mercy, your kindness, your truth. Please use my family and me to exalt Jesus Christ. Please use us as your agents to transform this world, one soul at a time.
