Romans 8:28; 10:11 “God works for the good of those who love him. … Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”
I have experienced both of these promises in abundance over the course of my life. In difficulties I have seen God transform me by getting my attention – yet always gently and patiently working for my good. And even in the most humbling lessons he has never put me to shame when I’ve put my trust in him.
Father, thank you that you love me. You are worthy of my utmost trust, love, attention, and praise. Thank you for the lessons you have taught me and continue to teach me – all for my good.
