2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of truth.”
This passage is mostly about sticking to the truths of God’s Word, knowing it thoroughly, and resisting false teaching. But it is readily applicable to the working world where an employee serves Christ in the midst of the watching eyes of people who don’t (yet) know God’s love. It is vital that I work with the highest integrity and to treat my fellow employees with dignity as the Scriptures teach.
Father, thank you for your Word which guides me into truth and away from error. These many verses that speak to living out my faith are like rays of light penetrating every aspect of my life, keeping me from attitudes and actions that diminish your name and damage my witness.
