Philemon 6 “I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.”
As a Christian, I must be active in sharing the gospel. This means I must be deeply saturated in God’s Word, know the truth, and communicate it confidently and clearly. I must focus on hope (every good thing we have) in Jesus Christ, especially in a world of terrorism, totalitarianism, surveillance, and intimidation. I must always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks about the reason for the hope that is in me, responding with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
Father, help me and all faithful Christians communicate your love to a chaotic, frightened, and confused world which calls evil good and good evil. Please anoint us with your Spirit to bear fruit in witness through our words and actions.
