2 Corinthians 5:5 “And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him.”
Jesus Christ died in my place and rescued my life. I owe everything to him. How can I live this out today? In what areas of my life am I living for myself instead of for him? What does it look like to truly live for Christ in my job today?
Father, you know my every thought and motive. Please take away my selfishness. As I navigate the landscape of work and deal with a variety of personalities and attitudes, please keep me from sin, impatience, arrogance, cynicism, slander. I know you will lead me through it in a way that honors you if I am careful to walk beside you. Help me live every moment of this day for you.
