Psalm 91:14-16 “Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
The whole of Psalm 91 is about God’s promises to protect all who love and depend on him. It doesn’t mean a trouble-free life, but rather God’s protection and presence in the middle of trouble, and his rescue from disaster.
Father, thank you for protecting me and my family. I place my hope in you today.
